Laser Therapy Training Course — ITEC Laser Level 4 - Autumn 2025 TERM

This in-depth program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to operate advanced laser and IPL machines, covering a wide range of applications including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, vascular therapy, and more.

Our diploma course is built on a solid foundation of practical learning, combining all the ITEC Level 4 Laser & Light Certificates into one cohesive curriculum. Through hands-on case studies and real-world shadowing in our clinical practice environment, students gain a deep understanding of treatment protocols, technology, and consultation skills that are essential for delivering effective laser and light-based therapies.

The course is delivered once a week over a period of 16 weeks, providing ample time to absorb the material and apply your knowledge in a variety of settings. By the end of the program, students will have developed a broad understanding of laser and light treatments and be prepared to work with clients across multiple treatment areas, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and vascular therapy.

The syllabus covers a range of topics, from the fundamental principles of skin and hair structure to the application of advanced technologies like electromagnetic radiation and skin cooling systems. Additionally, students will learn about consultation procedures, contraindications, and health and safety protocols that are essential for delivering safe and effective treatments. Each student will perform case studies throughout the course.

Upon completion of the diploma course, graduates will possess a Level 4 qualification recognised globally by insurance providers and employers alike. This level of recognition opens doors to a wide range of career opportunities, allowing them to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and industries.

There are six places available on each course term ensuring every student receives maximum tutor interaction and one to one attention and our Cork city centre location makes it easy to get to and from your training each day.

Each training session runs from 11:00 to 16:30 every Tuesday for 16 weeks.
